It was a great shabbos as the vans pulled out of yam at 12:30 friday afternoon arriving in montreal at 2:30 on time to be ready for an early shabbos starting at 4:05.We all came together in shul for mincha and maariv then we made our way to our gracious hosts for a delicious meal. Afterwards we met at the house of Rabbi Meir Gnivish and had a great farbrengen. We heard some very interesting stories about meetings with arab princes and business meetings. In the morning the shluchim came around to wake everyone up for shacharis and we all jumped out of bed (yeh right!) davened and went to eat by different houses. After the meal it was already time to run to mincha and then sit in shul for seder nigunim and a maamer. Motzei shabbos was a blast. The shluchim arranged some great activities and yeshivah covered the costs! We went bowling, played some pool and then went to the most famous pizza store in Canada - Pizza Pita! After a short tour of Montreal we headed back to YAM and arrived around 2:30 - 3 am. Then we all had a good sleep and a late shacharis.
