Gemara in Yeshiva Ateres Menachem

Learning Gemara is one of the main subjects that we learn here in Yeshiva Ateres Menachem. There are many reasons as to why Gemara is learn't thoroughly, and for many hours Gemara is the foundation of many Jewish laws that we use today, so by learning it; we can see the history of how these laws came into effect and how we utilize them today.
We also learn Gemara to strengthen our thinking and understanding, which, in time we are able to comprehend what the Gemara is talking about. It is a big achievement when one can say I know what I am learning, and that I comprehend it.

Here are various levels in Yeshiva Ateres Menachem, each catered to meet one’s needs. There are faster and slower classes, and another that goes more in depth. However, it is not the quantity of how much you learn, but whether you understand what you have been taught.
The three main teachers that educate us in Gemara are Rabbi Berger, Rabbi Berel Zaklikofsky, and Rabbi Moshe Maness. They each have their own ways of teaching Gemara, respectively.
It isn’t the quantity of how much you learn, but whether you understand what you have been taught.
