Packed house down under for The Shabbos Exhibition

9:50:PM Wednesday, Aug 19, 2009 Melbourne, Australia - The Werdiger Family Hall was filled to capacity on Monday night, when Grandparents, parents, friends and the whole community came to the opening of the Yeshivah College Shabbos Exhibition.
The audience was enchanted and enthralled by the magnificent exhibits made by the students which included – the 39 Melochos, a giant shabbos table, the six days of creation, which included live chickens and plants. The interactive tent of Sarah, the “thundering” Har Sinai and a series of stunning mosaics, video presentations and much much more. Rabbi Berger welcomed the audience and Rabbi Telsner gave the D’var Torah. Our very talented Grade 5 student Avremel Rosenfeld played three shabbos melodies on the violin. Thanks go to Mrs. Chana Serebryanski for once again coordinating this incredible event, as well as to the students and a very dedicated team of Mechanchim and Mechanchos. Photos: Zelig Shaul |
