As Pesach fast approaches, our small center is quickly transforming into a hub of anxious activity and cleaning.
We are preparing for a beautiful Seder which will take place this year overlooking the Cabo S. Lucas Marina. Puerto Paraiso mall has generously helped us acquire the use of their third floor for our communal Seder.But remember to register and let us know "in advance" if you will be attending. We don't want anyone to be left without a place or enough food at our Seder. It'll help us and it will also help you be more at ease when arriving at the event.
We are also bringing in mucho hand baked Shmura Matza this year. If you wish to purchase Shmura Matza for the holiday, please let me know and I will put some aside for you. This week, we began our first in depth Torah study course in S. Jose. The topic was on preparing for Pesach. We titled it "Me, myself and my Matza".The class was interesting and interactive. Lots of questions and discussions throughtout the class.
Anyone who lives in S. Jose (or beyond) is more than welcome to join us this coming Wednesday evening at 8pm for our second class on the Matza. Fellow Synagogue founding member J.P has offered the use of his home as the classroom. We have delicious refreshments and you are sure to have a wonderful time, while also gaining insight on Jewish stuff that you may never have known about...
