This week, a very special wedding took place in the courtyard of the Chabad House in Ness Tziona, run by Rabbi Saguy Har Sheffer.
The couple, both in their eighties, moved to Israel during the first aliyah from the former Soviet Union. Recently, after attending shiurim with Rabbi Schneur Friedman, director of the Chabad House's Immigrant Absorption department, the couple decided to get married according to Jewish law.
The wedding was very moving, and the couple thanked the local Chabad shluchim for all of their support and encouragement.
